We don’t charge per seat or per licence. Your quote has two parts: person-months (PM) of project effort, and the cost of the EU-hosted infrastructure for your tier. You receive a written estimate after the first conversation.
CORE suits standard research consortia that need collaboration, PM² structure and budget tracking. PROTECTED adds 24/7 security monitoring and compliance advisory, and fits sensitive or regulated projects. Yes. Many projects start with CORE and add security or the full ecosystem as requirements grow. We agree the change and its effect on effort and infrastructure cost in writing before it happens.
We run the platform for you: backups, updates and monitoring, with support when something breaks. It means you have one partner responsible for the infrastructure, not a set of tools you maintain yourselves. Response times are set out in the PIF.
